Astro Empires graphic packages - Star Trek - Federation Lcars System ver 1.0

Main screen EmpireSystem

Here is the third graphic package I created for Astro Empires game. Click on the image will show it in large. This skin (or graphic package) is based on Lcars system that can be seen on every computer display in every Federation ship or any sort of Federation console on bases.

Inside the package is included font "Slider". To correctly use this graphic package it is important to install the Slider font in the C:\Windows\Fonts folder on your computer. Just Copy it it Paste it in that folder.

Here are the planets I created for this graphic package. Beside the picture is planetary classification by Star Trek terminology.

Gas Giant

Super Gas Giant - Class A - Planets of this class are usually found in a star's outer zone and are typically 140 thousand to 10 million kilometers in diameter and have high core temperatures causing them to radiate heat. Low stellar radiation and high planet gravity enables them to keep a tenuous surface comprised of gaseous hydrogen and hydrogen compounds.

Gas Giant - Class B - Planets are usually found in a star's outer zone. They are typically 50 thousand to 140 thousand kilometers in diameter and have high core temperatures but do not radiate much heat. Low stellar radiation and high planet gravity enables them to keep a tenuous surface comprised of gaseous hydrogen and hydrogen compounds.

Super Gas Giant - Class S - Planets of this class are usually found in a star's cold zone. They are typically 50 million to 120 million kilometers in diameter and have high core temperatures causing them to radiate heat and light. These are the largest possible planets, because most planets that reach this size do become stars.

Toxic planet

Toxic - Class C - Planets of this class are usually found in a star's habitable zone. They are typically 10 to 15 thousand kilometers in diameter. They have high surface temperatures due to the greenhouse effect caused by their dense atmospheres. The only water found is in vapor form.

Toxic - Class D - Planets of this class are usually found in a star's habitable zone. They are typically 10,000 to 15,000 kilometers in diameter. They have a molten surface because they have been recently formed. The atmosphere contains many hydrogen compounds and reactive gases.

Metallic - Class E - Planets of this class have a molten core and are usually found in a star's habitable zone. They are typically 10,000 to 15,000 kilometers in diameter. Their atmospheres still contain hydrogen compounds.
Rocky planet

Rocky - Class K - Planets of this class are usually found in a star's habitable zone. They are adaptable for colonization through the use of pressure domes and other life support devices. They are typically 5,000 to 10,000 kilometers in diameter. They have thin atmospheres. Small amounts of water are present.

Crystalline planet Crystalline - Class F - planets are usually found in a star's habitable zone. They are typically 10 to 15 thousand kilometers in diameter and have surfaces that are still crystalizing. Their atmospheres still contain some toxic gases.
Arid, Desert, Dune planet Arid - Class G - Planets of this class are desert like and can be found in any of a star's zones. They are typically 8 to 15 thousand kilometers in diameter. Their surfaces are usually hot. Their atmospheres contain heavy gases and metal vapors.
Volcanic planet Volcanic - Class H - Planets of this class are usually found in a star's habitable zone or cold zone. They are typically 1,000 to 10,000 kilometers in diameter. They have partially molten surfaces and atmospheres that contain many hydrogen compounds.
Asteroid Asteroid - Class I - Planetary bodies of this class can be found in any of a star's zones. They are usually found in orbit of larger planets or in asteriod belts. They are typically 100 to 1,000 kilometers in diameter, they have no atmospheres, their surfaces are barren and cratered.
Cratered planet Cratered - Class J - Planets of this class are usually found in a star's hot zone. They are typically 1,000 to 10,000 kilometers in diameter. They tend to have high surface temperatures due to the proximty to the star and lack of thick atmosphere. Their atmospheres are extremely tenuous with few chemically active gases. Their surface is caverd with great number of impact craters
Glacial - Class L - Planets of this class are usually found in a star's habitable zone or cold zon. They are typically 1,000 to 10,000 kilometers in diameter. Low solar radiation and minimal internal heat usually result in a frozen atmosphere.
Tundra planet Tundra - Class L - Planets of this class are usually found in a star's habitable zone or cold zon. They are typically 1,000 to 10,000 kilometers in diameter. Low solar radiation and minimal internal heat usually result in a frozen atmosphere. But with indigenous life present in a form of very resistant fungi.
Earthly planet, Minshara class Earthly - Class M - More famous as Minshara class by Vulcan terminology. Planets of this class are found in a star's "habitable zone". They are typically 10,000 to 15 thousand kilometers in diameter. They have atmospheres that contain oxygen and nitrogen. Life is almost always present often flourishing as extensive plants and animals. Indigenous sentient race can also be present, but that is irelevant factor in Astro Empires terms.
Gaian planet Gaia - Class M - Extreme example of Minshara class planet. Planets of this class are found in a star's "habitable zone". They are typically 10,000 to 15 thousand kilometers in diameter. They have atmospheres that contain high amounts of oxygen and nitrogen. Water and any form of biological life are typically abundant. Indigenous sentient race usually is not present, but that is irelevant factor in Astro Empires terms.
Oceanic planet, Solaris Oceanic - Class N - planets are usually found in a star's habitable zone. They are typically 10,000 to 15 thousand kilometers in diameter. They have atmospheres that contain oxygen and nitrogen . Water and life-forms are typically abundant. Water cover more then 97% of surface.
Radioactive planet Radioactive - Class T - Planets of this class are usually found in a star's cold zone. They are usually 10 to 50 million kilometers in diameter. They have high core temperatures causing them to radiate enough heat to keep water in a liquid state.
Magma planet, Crematoria Magma - Class Y - Demon Class - Demon Planets and planetoids of this class can be found in any of a star's zones. They are typically 10,000 to 15 thousand kilometers in diameter. Atmospheric conditions are often turbulent and saturated with poisonous chemicals and thermionic radiation. Surface temperatures can reach in excess of 500 K.
